I want to start off with some links from Sewing for Utange. All sorts of denim jeans are re-made into sell-able items that are sold to raise money for starving orphans of Utange. Such a worthy venture! Please stop by there to say hello, and give if you feel lead to do so.
The first is a coin purse key ring; a pocket purse with a zipper; very fun for a coin purse. And many lovely aprons. There are many different projects on the blog with instructions included for many different projects.
The next project is from Buttons and Paint and it is a sweet tote bag.
The Hong Kong Chic has lots of recycled denim on her blog! Look at this fun idea for belt storage!
And this purse is just so pretty! I need one of those!
Love the handle on this tote bag.
She also made a case for her tablet from a pair of jeans, really nice!
I also wanted to include a link to my Pocket Purses I made for my grand daughters.
The sky is the limit to re-purposing an old pair of jeans. What have you made? I would love to see it! Come on over and link it up with me at Wow Us Wednesday!
Great post everyone! You have all been Pinned! If you would like a featured button click here.
These links are from my weekly link up's every Wednesdays and are my features. I link at these parties.

I love denim and jeans. Thanks for this collection of ideas. I love the over the door organizer.
ReplyDeleteGreat denim items - I love the apron the best! I'm in love with denim items. Working on a ranch is pretty tough on jeans and my Honey goes through knees in his jeans pretty often. I hate that I'm sewing-challenged, I'd have lots of fabric to play with! LOL Thanks for sharing. (visiting from Wonderful Wednesday)

I found you on The Thriftiness Miss and I'm your newest follower! I love your idea of buying denim from thrift stores and using it to re-purpose. My hubby will not be happy about this because I'm going to have to try it! Please visit my blog and share the love, too!

What a fantastic range of ideas you have here for denim. I was once collecting jeans to make into something else but ended up giving them all away to charity when they sat at the bottom of my cupboard for a year. Now I wish I didn't.
ReplyDeleteSeen you at the chic on a shoestring link party and thought I would pop by to peek at your cool blog. Hope you'll return the favour sometime :)
Have a great weekend :)

Great ideas, Connie! I especially love the pocket purses :) Thanks so much for sharing at last week's All my Bloggy Friends - Linda and I look forward to seeing what you share this week! :)
ReplyDeleteREally cool ideas! Love repurposing! THe hanging pants organizer is a really cute idea! I had a friend who made tube bags just by cutting off a leg and sewing a circle to the bottom, hemming the top into a draw string closure and adding a long strap. Was really neat and she using it to cart around poles for artshow displays. ^_^ Can't wait to tackle the stack of old jeans I have stored up in my art room!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas to re-purpose. YOU have been featured again!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing at Tuesdays with a Twist. Hope to see you again this week!
