Baked Fall Goodness; 9 Recipes

Summers here are brutal and I would only turn on an oven if I had to for some reason! I hope to have a solar oven before next summer so baking doesn't stop. Anyway the kids are tired of store bought after schools treats and I am anxious to start making them again. Here are some Fall baked goodies I found from WUW link party that caught my eye. Each looks as delicious as the next! Yum!  I think I will start working my way through this list starting next week. Yes it is officially Fall but the temps here are still 100-105! Next week temps are suppose to be lower.

3 2 1 Cake

Itty Bitty who is growing fast and not so itty bitty any more was at my house on her actual birthday. Her birthday party is scheduled for Saturday. I only had two girls and of course she needed a birthday cake. I mixed up a quick 3 2 1 Cake in a half pint Mason jar and topped it with sparkly pink sprinkles and a splash of colored sprinkles. I found that I didn't have any candles and put a match on the cake instead for her to blow out.

I love pancakes but being gluten free I am always looking for something good for pancakes. I have been reacting to all grains except rice, so when I over cooked a pot of rice, I came up with these pancakes. I don't like to throw food out if it can be used. I have tried white and brown rice and either is good. It is a simple recipe and can be changed up for different flavors.
