Grandparent's Say It Saturday

Hello everyone from rainy AZ! Yes it's suppose to be rainy again all day, had our sunshine break and it was nice. My roses have new growth and I managed to fertilize them before the rain started so they will have a good jump for spring. I do love spring but I am not wishing it here too soon no matter how cold the winter is. If you have ever been in AZ in the summer then you will understand :)

At the zoo this grand daughter was fascinated with this goat who preferred to have a nap over socializing. She was afraid to touch it but keep talking to it. After a few minutes of getting no response from the goat, she decided to to just sit on the ground and quietly wait for the goat to wake up. Kids, you got to love them! Have a great weekend!

This is a link up for older bloggers; you don't need to be a grandparent to ink up. Link up to three post, not to your home page, and link that back to Family Home and Life. While you are here I hope you will visit the other linkers and come back to see who links up later. We all love comments! No Etsy shops or giveaways please. This link closes on Monday night.
Be sure to visit Lisa at Grandma's Briefs to join her linky, GRAND Social, on Mondays. Thank you for linking up with me!

  1. What a cute picture! It says so much without even a word spoken!

  2. I love how she has chosen to watch and wait at a "safe" distance!

  3. So sweet! Thank you for hosting us this morning!

  4. As a Texas gal, I totally understand not wanting to rush spring!

  5. This is my first time to link up with your family blog. Love it and am a follower. This is a precious story. All our grands are bigger now and I miss the little people antics. Thanks for hosting Connie.Blessings

  6. I love how they're just sitting and staring at each other, at a respectful distance:)

  7. Oh how cute! It reminds me of the time my grandkids got to goat-sit and I had to grand-goat sit. It was quite fun and hilarious. Thanks for the lovely memories and the fun post.

  8. I'm in Texas like Mrs. Tucker, so I totally understand! And we're coastal, so it's more like a steam bath than a sauna. For months.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to leave a comment!
