Sweet Treats

Excuse me, I am trying to eat ice cream while I write this. You see, after looking through all the following post I HAD to have something sweet! Oh my, I'm warning you! There are some really yummy looking sweet treats coming up :)

Try One New Recipe a Week-Perfectly Peanut Butter Brownie

Simple Sue made these Perfectly Peanut Butter Brownies. I have never tried a Peanut Butter Brownie, have you?

White Chocolate & Maple Caramel Eclairs with Orange & Star Anise Cream & Chipped Almonds


I love Maple Eclairs, but add white chocolate, caramel oh my gosh! Can it get any better? Recipe at Anyonita Nibbles.


I am always looking for easy and fun things to do with my kids and I think this one, Biscuit Donuts, may be just perfect! Head over to The Moon Light Factory to see how she does it....may want to do the frying part with out kid help though to be safe. I love it!

M&M Chocolate Pudding Cookies - Love Bakes Good Cakes

I have seen several pudding cookies recipes around lately and this one looks very good. Love Bakes Good Cakes brings you Chocolate Pudding Cookies.

Our Old Homestead has a super easy 2 ingredient recipe for Lemon Bars; another one I can make with the little kids. 

Buttermilk Beignets or French Donuts

Buttermilk Beignets; hmm, I don't think I have ever had a Beignet! It's a French donut so you know it's good. Check it out at Chocolate Chocolate and More.


Your Home Based Mom also has a Beignet recipe, Cafe Du Monde Beignet. Gosh, with a name like that you have to try it :)

    Mmmmm, Connie, what a great collection! Something for everyone here! My choices would be the toffee bars and the lemon treats - but pudding cookies to make with and for the grandkids!
