The lady must have thought I was a nut job because I wanted the lamp shade but not the lamp; the toy tool boxes but not the tools or blocks that came with them. I also brought home a bulletin board and those two foam pool noodles. I have plans for it all - including the drop cloth it is sitting on - and I will post about my successes or failures re-purposing these items in upcoming posts.
Today I have for you the two little wood toy tool boxes that I re-purposed into Ribbon Storage. They needed a coat of spray paint from a can I already had, a night to dry well, and then they were put to use holding my ribbon spools. They really work well and are portable which is great for me because I often craft or sew in different areas of my house. Easy as that; what do you think? I love them :)
I link at these parties and The Shabby Creek Cottage.
