Side Dishes

The main course is always the feature but what about the sides to go with it? Today's post is all about side dishes to round out your meals.

"frozen vs fresh:

Let's get this post started with first learning about the best way to buy fruits and vegetables. Fresh or Frozen? Natural Mother's Network explains it all.

broccoli

Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan and Pine Nuts, yum yum!  Can't miss with that combo! Your Home Based Mom cooked this one up.

Green Bean almondine

Most people like green beans and they will love this recipe - Green Beans with Toasted Almonds - for sure! The recipe is at Lori's Culinary Creations.

Cool Cucumber Pasta Salad

Cool Cucumber Pasta Salad; just in time for summer! A pasta salad ia always a hit at weekend cook outs. Chicky's Cafe' and Bowtique made this cool dish.

Roasted Garlic Potato Soup. That is really a meal it's self but it would be really nice as a side too. I love potato soup, easy and inexpensive,  it is a regular menu item at my house! Yesterfood has this recipe.

Bacon Pomegranate Mint Salad. That's different! But it works! Thankful Me tell us about it.

Healthy side dishes you can make in minutes

Michelle Muckala has a few side dish recipes that she makes using a steamer. Quick, easy and healthy!

  14. I must admit that I spend way too much time on the main course and simply throw the side dishes on and move along. No special preparations...after all, they're side dishes. However, I feel a little moved to put a little more emphasis on my sides. Saw you on Dear Creatives site.
