Say It Saturday

Hello friends! I am so glad you came by today.

Cabo San Lucas, the view from the balcony. Beach as far as you can see.
The grand daughters on the beach with their pails, feet in the sand. Drinks served pool side......wish I was there!  My daughter and her family just returned from their yearly trip to Cabo. I went with them a few years ago and it is so wonderful. We ate at the different restaurants and cafe's located in and around the resort, some inside and some outside. At night there are fire pits where you can relax and listen to live music and order anything you want to eat or drink.

There were several swimming pools all just a little different. The landscaping is amazing! Every room has a view of the beach. There are complimentary golf carts with drivers to take you anywhere on the grounds you want to go. You are waited on like royalty and all facilities and rooms have beautiful Cantera stone floors. Vans and drivers will take you into town to shop, dine, or take a boat ride around the bay or to Lovers Beach. Perfect place to relax and enjoy.

Lover's Beach

When we were there, we took a boat ride out of the bay and around the point at Lovers Beach. The waves are huge on the other side! Isn't it beautiful? I'm thinking about vacations. Relaxing, getting away. How about you? Where will you vacation this summer? Where is the most memorable vacation spot you have been?

I am so glad you stopped by!

  1. Good Morning Connie, I was looking at the lovely photographs of your daughter's holiday and the place looks wonderful. Can I ask, where is Cabo? It is not a place I know of, but it certainly looks like somewhere I would like to visit.
Thank you for hosting this party, it is lovely to meet new friends.
    Best Wishes

    1. Good morning to you! Cabo is in Baja Mexico, that skinny strip of land below California. It is on the furthest tip with the Pacific ocean on the west side of Lovers Beach. I don't remember the name of that bay or gulf on the other side. Cabo is a good place to experience Mexico but still have all the conveniences of USA; a lot of English is spoken too. I have been in Old Mexico were gringos don't usually go. It is fun to experience the culture but they have a much harder life style than we do. It is nice to have you join us today :)

  5. These beach views are gorgeous. I'm going to China and Tibet this summer. Went twice in 1978 and 1981. It's changed drastically since then.

  6. Connie, Thanks for the great pics of Cabo. I've been there a couple of times and really want to go back...there is so much to see. If you look close at the picture of me in my website header, I am wearing a "Slim's Elbow Room" T-shirt. It's the "smallest bar in the world and is located in downtown Cabo. Have a great weekend !!!

I might go to Austin once the garden is past needing every day watering! Sorry to be so late today. I was busy trying to keep up with my grandgirls. They keep me runnin!

  9. Oh how fun! My parents used to live in Hawaii so that has always been my fave vacation trips. But I have to confess, the trip with the grandkids to Great Wolf Lodge was pretty awesome too - and no long airplane flights! :) Hmmmm - guess it's really the grand company that makes for the grand time! :) Have a blessed and beautiful summer near OR far.
