There is nothing more satisfying than when you take an ugly unusable furniture piece and re make it into something beautiful and useful. Yes it is hard work but don't be afraid! You can do it. Start on a small piece and work your way to something big if it's your first piece. Here is lots of inspiration for you.
With A Blast painted and wallpapered this cabinet. Very creative use of wallpaper!
Create Inspire Me revamped this radio cabinet. Check out those knobs! Love it!
This one you have to see! Those raised decorative flourishes are made with a stencil and plaster! I have wanted to add these before but wood flourishes can get pricey. Wood is more durable but the plaster is inexpensive. So fun and I love the finished pieces! Find the how to's at Kassandra Shabby.
What a lovely console table painted by Upcycled Treasures. She has a technique to make painting the bottom of the legs easier. Check it out!
Another fabulous redo from Create Inspire Me, such amazing work!
Telephone table makeover from Who Says You Can't? Yes she can!
With A Blast created a fun and pretty side table :)
This piece is not all girly and frilly but on my so nice! Denise On A Whim has the scoop how she did it!
Amazing what a little paint will do! This one is from Thrifty Treasures.
Another fabulous job from Denise On A Whim! Scrapped, painted, waxed, beautiful!
You have to see the before on this piece, so pretty with the use of stencils to create a design now; go to Callie's Crafts.
It's all in the details isn't it! So nice! French Chic girly desk by Create Inspire Me.
Add new fabric and some chalk paint and look what you get! Great job by Life on Lakeshore Drive.
Wow! Look at that! Re-upholstered and painted, The DIY Dreamer shows you how :)
How many different lives can a tea cart have? Check it out at Hickory Trail.
Love love this amoire! Can you see the details? A very interesting technique to get those. Head over to Thrifty Treasures.
Isn't this fun? Rain On A TIn Roof has the how to's for you with chalk paint.
From free to fabulous! A little paint and I love my 'new' china cabinet. FH&L here.
